Minerva Hallacy is a co-owner of B&M Studio in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. Minerva moved to the Bay Area from El Salvador in 1981, and graduated from Skyline College with a degree in Cosmetology in 1999. In 2003 she became an Artistic Educator for Matrix, a hair color company. Since then she has sought to continuously improve her hairdressing skills, and as a result has great depth of experience while keeping up to date with the latest trends. Minerva is fluent in both Spanish and English.

Benjamin Guerra is also a co-owner of B&M Studio. Benjamin has extensive experience in the beauty business. He owned a beauty salon in Guadalajara for three years before moving to the Bay Area 10 years ago to further his career as a hairstylist. He graduated from the Hilltop Beauty School, and in June 2018 he entered into a partnership with Minerva, with whom he founded B&M Studio. Benjamin's first language is Spanish, and he also speaks English.

B&M Studio offers personalized attention by appointment only, giving us the opportunity to serve our clients in a completely relaxed environment without any time constraints. During a hairstyling session we provide clients with technical assistance on how to improve their beauty care. That so many of our clients have remained loyal to us for all these years, and that so many of them followed us to our new location, is a testament to the success of our individualized approach to hair care.
Every client receives the benefit of our professional skills, and while our prices are not the lowest in the Mission, we remain accessible to those who prefer to receive personal attention and care.
